Delivery Terms & Conditions
1. Linen & Lifestyle offers a courier door-to-door method of delivery.
2. Free Delivery applies to Major City Centres only e.g. Johannesburg CBD, Cape Town CBD, Durban CBD etc, on all orders exceeding R499.99.
2.1. Where deliveries are in outlying areas a surcharge will apply to you and will be communicated to you accordingly.
3. On acceptance of your order, Linen & Lifestyle will deliver the Goods to you as soon as reasonably possible, we endeavour to deliver between 2-5 Working Days (Excluding Weekends and Public Holidays) on receipt of your payment (“Delivery Period”). We will notify you if we are unable to deliver the Goods during the Delivery Period for any valid reason, you may elect whether or not to cancel your order for the Goods. If you elect to cancel your order, we will reimburse you the purchase price.
3.1. Please note that this excludes Furniture which can take between 2-6 weeks depending on the manufacturing process.
4. Linen & Lifestyle’s obligation to deliver a product to you is fulfilled when we deliver the product to the physical address nominated by you for delivery of the order.
Linen & Lifestyle is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product, after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you.
Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy
Cancellation of a Laybuy
• Customer to use the deposit for any in-store purchase
i. Within a 30-day Period, full deposit will be returned to purchase any item in store
ii. Exceeding a 30-day Period, deposit will be returned minus the Penalty Fee (10%Cancellation/Holding/Storage/Penalty or Monetary Loss Fee will be charged) to purchase any item in-store
Refund of a Laybuy Deposit
• Within 60Days, Deposit will be returned minus the Penalty Fee (10% Cancellation/Holding/Storage/Penalty or Monetary Loss Fee will be charged)
• After 90 Days Laybuy goods will be returned to the shop floor and a 30% Cancellation/Holding/Storage/Penalty or Monetary Loss Fee will be charged
Refunds of Special Orders
• Within 24hours, 30% Cancellation/Penalty Fee will be applicable
• Within the stock holding limit of the store,30% Cancellation/Penalty Fee will be applicable
• Above the stock holding limit of the store, No Cancellation or Refund will be entertained
Refund of Specially Manufactured Orders
• No Refunds or Cancellations will be entertained whatsoever.
We stand behind the quality of our product and will accept returns, provided the following conditions are met:
• All returns must be made at our Linen & Lifestyle store based in Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng.
• We are contacted within 15 days of the goods being received
• The product has not been used
• The product has not been washed
• The product has not been damaged or soiled in any way
• The product is still in its original packaging
Please note, we do not accept returns on duvet inners, pillows, mattress or pillow protectors due to hygienic reasons.
As per the Consumer Protection Act (2011), customers are permitted to return goods within a period of 6 months, in the case of a manufacturing defect. Linen & Lifestyle reserves the right to have the product returned to us for inspection before a replacement is sent.
Custom-made items: Since each order is made to your individual specifications, we cannot accept any returns for any reason other than a manufacturing defect.
When contacting Linen & Lifestyle regarding a return, please include your order number and reason for return on the correspondence.
Online purchases may be returned to any Linen & Lifestyle store with a valid receipt and under the conditions that have been listed above.
